Join Gold Class Caravans for a Super Saturday Open House at our Townsville Showroom in Currajong, Saturday 8 August, 8am–2pm. Whether you’re new to caravanning or looking to upgrade, this is your chance to walk through the full Gold Class Caravans range in one place, ask as many questions as you like, and get the adventure planning started with no pressure and no appointment needed.

This is a home-ground event, hosted by the Gold Class Caravans team at our own Townsville Showroom — 1/14 Keane St, Currajong. The team will be on hand throughout the day to walk you through the range, talk finance and options, and help you find the right fit for the way you travel. It’s also a family day out: free barista coffee, a sausage sizzle, face painting for the kids, and some great on-the-day deals to sweeten the visit.

What You Can Expect

Explore the Gold Class Range

Step through both sides of the Gold Class lineup under one roof. Inspect the Adventure Class models built for off-road and off-grid touring — reinforced chassis, elevated ground clearance, and rugged fit-outs designed for travellers who venture beyond the bitumen. Then compare them against the Luxe Class range, where the focus shifts to refined touring comfort — spacious layouts, premium finishes, and the creature comforts that make longer stints on the road feel like home.

Talk with the Team

The Gold Class Caravans team will be on-site all day to answer questions, whatever stage you’re at. New to caravanning and not sure where to start? Upgrading from an older van and want to know what’s changed? Trying to decide between Adventure Class and Luxe Class for the way your family travels? Bring your questions — there’s no obligation, just straight answers from people who know the range inside and out.

Inspect the Build Quality Up Close

There’s no substitute for standing inside a van and running your hands over the finish. Open drawers, test the storage, sit in the layouts, and take in the detail — premium cabinetry, considered living spaces, and practical exterior features built for real Australian conditions. It’s the kind of craftsmanship that continues to resonate with serious Australian travellers, and it’s easiest to appreciate in person.

Why Visit the Showroom

An Open House like this is a rare chance to see the full breadth of a premium caravan range without the crowds and noise of a major expo — just relaxed, unhurried time to look, ask, and compare at your own pace.

Across the day you’ll get hands-on access to both Adventure Class and Luxe Class models side by side, direct guidance from the Gold Class team on which range suits your travel style, and a few added extras to make it a proper family outing — coffee, a sausage sizzle, face painting, and some on-the-day deals for anyone ready to make a move.
